Your rant about tomatoes speaks to my heart. Tomatoes are awful and are definitely NOT candy. How people can think they are the greatest thing is beyond me. I think they are only meant for pasta sauce and like Michelle said "no big chunks" either. Thank you for voicing your dislike of this fruit vegetable.

When I was a teacher, we were REQUIRED to have emergency sub plans. They actually kept them in the office!

I love this post today. Perfect.

We are, too, but only kind of and for one-two days? I like to have more (am lightly crazy if that wasn't made clear by this post).

Please write more about teaching/organization! I’d love to learn from a veteran teacher & you seem to still love your job!

Clean sheets when you're just about getting better from being sick are AMAZING. That crispness - yes please!!

Would love to read Housemates but it doesn't appear to be being published in the UK. Hope a little birdie with influence there might read this.... ;)

That picture is very hot. Post it often! I organized our supply closet the same way, only using lazy susans instead of bins. I’d love to hear more about teaching. Supply lists, advice for new teachers, whatever you feel is important. Let us learn from your hard-won experience.

My husband and I agree, tomatoes are awful - unless marinara (but no big chunks) ketchup (only on a cheeseburger) and salsa (and really, we prefer verde). Our oldest started asking for a slice of tomato on his sandwiches. #quellenightmare

LOVE the human care closet!

I LOVE orange juice but hate oranges. I have a glass of juice every morning, but do NOT give me an orange. So loving ketchup but hating tomatoes makes complete sense to me.

Also labeling my cords was one of the biggest gifts I've ever given myself.

I have another controversial take: I love pulp in my OJ. I know, a woman's heart is full of secrets. And I love my labeled cords so much already.

The pulp is the entire problem with oranges. :o)

I like tomatoes and hate ketchup but your rant was so funny and had me convinced I'm in the wrong. My husband is currently getting his Masters so he can teach next school year so I'd love a back to school round up!
