Can you also share a link to the laminator pouches you use? I have been wanting to get a personal laminator for a long time, and clearly this is my sign to finally do it!
I love/often need prompts so I hope people leave some in the comments. These aren’t prompts per se but I almost always find something in the essays in Ross Gay’s The Book of Delights that will act as a prompt and so now when I’m feeling stuck I’ll open it at random and see what happens.
I think the joy in prompts is that even if you don't consider yourself a writer (although, my friend, gently: if you write (in a journal, in comments, in anything, you are a writer!) is that they give you a jumping off point. I read We The Animals, so I can't vouch for the audiobook, though I imagine it would be incredible!
I feel like my entire life is one big AND YET.
SAME.

I use the Amazon Basic ones (some come with the laminator). At school, I have the Scotch Thermal Laminator so I get that brand.
I love my laminator so, so much. It truly brings me joy.
I'm so glad I'm not alone.
Your Substack brings me so much joy — and so many books for my TBR. Thank you.

Write yourself a summer love letter now. Make guesses. Tell secrets. Imagine the rest of your summer. Open at the end of August. <3
The Promptress Queen herself. Using this one.

That book is perfection to me. Ross Gay is an absolute treasure.
I agree 100%
Oh! I meant to say that I really love the prompts you included and can’t wait to use them.
I’m not a writer, but those prompts sound fun. My library has We the Animals in audio and ebook. Do you think one or the other would work better?
