I’m a flair pens gal through & through, but I love my muji pen for my five year journal! Also thank you for highlighting the pre-sharpened pencils!!! I thought I was being a bit of a diva for requesting them last year, but we were on an eight period day and I can’t waste any time sharpening pencils!
I have ordered many items on this list and I feel ALMOST mentally prepared to return to work. I've shifted gears from teaching 7th to 5th this year, so wish me luck!
I have a Moleskin that I love everything about EXCEPT that my fountain pen (which I loooove) bleeds through the pages. I've been looking for a new notebook so I might have to get one from Appointed. This is not news to you but there's just something so wonderful about a really good notebook.
I cannot express how much I love the Appointed notebook. It's incredible. Brandon Taylor, who is a notebook aficionado, also recently posted about Katie Leamon layflat notebooks, and I am curious (I believe he loves a fountain pen, so something to consider!)
I love notebooks and buy them like they’re going out of style (even though I rarely use them anymore). That being said— since I’m going to start making an effort to write daily, I should probably get a new notebook so thank you for the rec!
Also, I love your commitment to black ink as I am a blue ink girly. I won’t use black ink. Ever. I would rather text myself a note than write something down in black ink. So I will be looking for your pen recs in blue (even though I am in a long term, committed relationship with the old school, BIC Cristal Original).
Notebooks are my love language (and pens). I agree on Appointed (but lined). Love those U-brand pens. I also like the Rifle Paper 3-Pack of notebooks (those are great for the purse--and the quality of the paper is amazing).
